Social Media is crucial to the success of small restaurants in New York City and Mayfield was no exception. Chefs Lev Gewirtzman and Jacques Belanger were cognizant of this in 2012 when they launched Mayfield Restaurant in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Throughout the years I have been a constant prescence in their kitchen, documenting the way and helping show more and more people the incredible nuance and depth of new american cuisine.
